HoneyTraffic Documentation

HoneyTraffic generates a keyword-driven content calendar for your business. Once an article is published, it becomes available through any of the integrations below — choose the one that fits how your site is built.

Integrations

  • Next.js Blog — a published npm package (honeytraffic-next-js-blog) that scaffolds a working /blog into your Next.js App Router project.
  • API — read-only REST access to your published articles, for any custom integration.
  • Webhook — we POST each article to a URL you choose the moment it's published, signed with HMAC-SHA256.

Authentication

Every integration is scoped to a single API key or webhook secret, generated from Integrations in your HoneyTraffic dashboard. Each key/secret is shown exactly once at creation time — store it somewhere safe, since it can't be retrieved again (you can always disconnect and reconnect to generate a new one).

What "published" means

Only articles with status published are ever returned by the API or delivered via webhook. Draft and generated-but-unreviewed articles stay private — publishing is a deliberate action you take from the article detail view in your calendar.
