2. Information We Collect
Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, we store your email address and, where applicable, the discount you were offered.
Account information: your name, email address and profile picture if you sign in with Google. We do not collect or store passwords; sign-in is handled through Google or a one-time email link.
Business information you provide: your website URL, business description, target audience, market, language, brand details, authors and any competitor domains you add.
Publicly available content we analyse: to research your business and generate relevant content, we fetch and analyse publicly available pages from your website and from the competitor websites you provide. We never access anything behind a login.
Content we generate for you: keyword research, content plans, articles, images and growth projections created for your account.
Integrations you connect: if you connect Google Search Console, we receive read-only search performance data (such as queries, clicks and impressions). If you connect WordPress, a webhook or our API, we store the connection details needed to publish for you; access credentials are stored encrypted. We never change your Search Console settings.
Billing information: if you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your billing name, email, country, subscription status and payment history, but never your full card details.
Support conversations: messages you send us by email.
Technical data: server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) kept by our hosting provider, privacy-friendly usage statistics from Vercel Analytics (which does not use cookies), and a cookie used only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Why We Use Your Data and Our Legal Basis
We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the following purposes:
- To provide the Service you signed up for: creating your account, researching your business, generating and publishing your content, and connecting your integrations (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To manage your waitlist spot and tell you when access opens (your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you can withdraw it at any time).
- To take payments, issue invoices and keep accounting records (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, fix problems and understand how the Website is used in aggregate (our legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To answer your questions and send you important account and service emails (performance of a contract and our legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data to train AI models. AI providers process your information only to generate your own content at the time you request it.
4. Service Providers We Share Data With
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under data processing agreements where required:
- Supabase: database, authentication and file storage
- Vercel: hosting and privacy-friendly analytics
- Inngest: running background jobs such as research and article generation
- Anthropic (Claude): analysing your business and competitor information and writing your content
- OpenAI: generating images for your articles
- DataForSEO: keyword and search results data
- Google: sign-in and, if you connect it, Search Console data
- Resend: sending account and product emails
- Stripe: payment processing
We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.
5. International Transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Waitlist emails: until you get access, ask to be removed, or we stop the waitlist.
- Account, business and generated content: for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete this data, except where we must keep it by law.
- Billing and invoicing records: for 10 years, as required by Slovak accounting law.
- Server logs: for a short period, according to our hosting provider's standard retention.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. To use any of these rights, email us at pashaborsai@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Slovakia this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, https://dataprotection.gov.sk.
8. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, encrypted storage of integration credentials, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you and the authorities of a data breach where the law requires it.
9. Children
HoneyTraffic is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. If the changes are significant, we will also let registered users know by email.
